هذا الكتاب ليس للقراءة قبل النوم. إنه مرجع مهم لكل مهتم بالقانون المقارن. يتألف من مجلدين مترجمين عن الإنجليزية (منشور بالأساس عن جامعة أكسفورد) وفيه 42 فصل وأكثر من 2000 صفحة. لم أقرأه بالطبع كاملاً ولا أحتاج الآن للقيام بذلك بل سأعود إليه كل مرة أدرس أو أبحث في موضوع مرتبط بأحد مواضيعه الشاملة. لقد تم اعتماده كمرجع مساند لمساق “أنظمة قانونية مقارنة“. وقد قام بعض الطلبة بقراءة بعض هذه الفصول وعمل عرض صفي حولها. أدناه الفصول التي تم اعتمادها للمساق وتمت قرائتها لهذه الغاية.
