هذا كتاب ليس للقراءة قبل النوم. فهو يتعرض لتاريخ ما قبل الحرب العالمية الثانية بالنسبة لفلسطين ولكن في الحقيقة هو يتعرض لما تعرضت له الحركة الصهيونية في الفترة السابقة للحرب العالمية الثانية ودورهم في التحالفات الدولية ومشاركتهم بجانب الحلفاء ولو بطريقة رمزية في الحرب العالمية الثانية. كما يوجد أيضاً توثيق لتلك الحالات التي تم انتقادها لاحقا للحركة الصهيونية في طريقة تعاملها مع ملف اليهود الهاربين من أوروبا النازية وكيفية تأثير الحرب على سياسات بريطانيا تجاه “هجرة” اليهود إلى فلسطين. للمهتمين في هذه المواضيع قد يجدون بعض الملفات المهمة لهم من ناحية تاريخية وسياسية. لكنني قرأت كتب أكثر متعة من هذه حول نفس الموضوع.
